Serving and Empowering the 2nd District
After moving to Glendale, Kyle attended the Westside Leadership Institute, where he was inspired to become active in his community. In 2004, he began by creating a west-side community yard sale. The growth of that event led Kyle to found People's Market, which still hosts Yard Sale Day. Working with neighbors, People's Market has grown into a weekly summer event at Jordan Park, offering a farmer's market, arts and crafts booths, food and entertainment.
Kyle serves on a number of boards and commissions that work to improve educational and business opportunities, preserve the environment, promote community events, and provide social services to residents in need.
